Yeah it's Friday !
Thank you everyone for a great Term. It's been very busy with a lot of exciting learning having occurred. Well done everyone, a wonderful effort.
Thank you to all of the adults who have supported us in one way or another. Your help is truly appreciated.
Everyone is a little tired and looking forward to a good break, lots of fun, sleep-ins and sleep-overs, movies to watch, books to read, games to play and siblings & relatives to have a good time with.
Hopefully the weather will be kind so we can get outside.
Next term is again busy with lots of great reading and maths. We will be consolidating our addition and subtraction skills, looking at telling the time and moving into equal sharing and multiplication.
We begin the term with a focus upon fairy tales and nursery rhymes. Looking at the way a fairy tale is constructed as well as similes and other writer's tricks that make a tale interesting.
Of course the major event for Term 3, apart from all of the construction taking place, will be the Production later on in the term.
We will be learning a few Folk dances as well as continuing our fitness programme through Jump Jam.
So another exciting term ahead of us, but in the meantime enjoy your break.
Cheers
Jan Braddock and Room 10 students
